more shopping!

So I went shopping for my cousins wedding in May and i found about 5 dresses that I am in love with! I have all of them posted. The dress with the sleeves is a navy blue, it might show up black in the picture.. but anyway.. I think this is all my post for today is going to be about. Nothing to report on, or talk about. ENJOY! :)

My dad is quite hilarious. For example: we were driving around to get something to eat for dinner today (3/23/10). We decided on Chik-Fil-A. (Always a favorite.) We drive around the whole building and I see something not usually common to this eating establishment; a police car. Granted, cops do get hungry too. So with my confusion over this dilemma I state "I've never seen a cop car at Chik-Fil-A." My father-being the witty and hilarious man that he is - retorted, also referencing "A Christmas Story" said "Well how does a piggy eat?" I LOLed. >.<
Also we were waiting in line to get our food, we pull up to the window and this girl leans out and hands us our food. Now, I am not one to make fun of people's southern accents. Seeing as I am from the south. But this girl, oh my goodness. She sounded like the pothole from the insurance commercial. Yeah, you know the one I'm talking about. If you don't then Google/YouTube it. Type in "Pothole Commercial" It's pretty funny, and it sounds exactly like the girl in the window.
Anyway, enough with the silliness. I have started a new project in my design class! It's a really cute dress! I will probably have a link or something.. But I'm really excited to make it! It's a great summer dress! I also have this sage/army green fabric that resembles linen. Great summer color and weight. I will share the progress with you on here and tell you my plans/frustrations and excitement over this dress. Which will probably be a lot.

So that's all for now, I will try to put my first outfit of the day up in the next 2 days/week.

going down to Orlando to watch some Spring Training for the Dodgers, and the Phillie's.

SO! I just got back from Orlando! It was so much fun!
My dad, my brother and I left on Saturday and we went straight to the baseball game! It was the Phillie's and the Tigers. It was a gorgeous day! High of 75 and windy. Perfect.
So from there we drove a ways, and came up on this blue and orange structure. I thought it was part of this amusement park that was across the street from it(i.e. gas tank/engine)-it was loud so it was questionable. We (me and my brother) follow my dad inside and it's called "SKY-VENTURE".
We then walk into this observation room and this Plexiglas type of wall is separating us and 145 mph wind.
Yeah.
We wait for about 15 minutes then get called in. We go through the training and I'm thinking "Oh this is gonna be easy!" No. Of course not. If you even move your fingers a certain way it will send you falling into the Plexiglas wall where everyone could see.
We get going and there was a group of people who had already been there last week or something. They were good. We only got to go 2 times for a minute, but it was so worth it! Oh my goodness I want to do it again!
Maybe 10 minutes next time!
So THEN! Yes, there is more.
We go to see Shutter Island. It was so good! I loved it! I want to go see it again! We also went to Wonder Works. It's like an interactive science museum and it was so fun! That day was definitely one of the best days I've had. EVER.

pyramid studs. yes oh yes pyramid studs.. might be a little 90's punk rock but i love 'em! i really like the way they look..
ANYWAY new subject..
I am going to see "The Crazies" today.
it's this movie where -to my knowledge- there is a disease and everyone goes a little "whooooooooo!" well yeah, you get the point.
going with a group of loverly (yes loverly) people and i wanna have a good day. and i got to sleep in today so it has been good so far.. :)
i will probably comeback later and tell you how it went..
so i just got back (from the movies/church)
the movie was really good! well in terms of scaring the living daylights out of you it was 5 stars! two thumbs up! 10/10! it makes me think twice about nose bleeds! (long story.)
anyway it was a really good day! made up with people and i am feeling really good about some decisions i might make..
just sayin'

first fashion-type post..

so this skirt in the picture... you wanna guess where i got it? nope. not from target. not from walmart.. give up? I MADE IT!!!!! yup! it was a project for design class and i finally finished it! it's so cute and comfortable! i definitely want to make it again but with a different fabric! so this is the official start of my fashion blog.. i don't realy know what to put in here but i will just do whatever...
OO random thought! every friday i will tell you guys what clothes i like, what i bought, what i'm obsessing over.. haha
